Please complete the McKamy Band Boosters Sign-up Sheet entirely, indicating the requested contact information and your child’s t-shirt size (adult sizes only).  Attach a check for the appropriate amount, payable to McKamy Band Boosters:    Beginner Band - $50.00 Symphonic Band - $100.00 Honor Winds - $125.00 Activity Fees are collected in lieu of fundraising; a general list of items included in these fees is outlined at the bottom of the sign-up sheet.
Text Box: PRIVATE LESSONS The Private Lessons program at McKamy is a great way to receive one-on-one instruction on your child’s instrument from a professional!  Students who take private lessons accelerate at a much faster rate while they work on scales and band music, as well as supplemental materials on their instrument.  The majority of students who audition for the All-District and All-Region Bands are taking private lessons!  Over 90% of our students are taking private lessons; this contributes to high quality performances in our band department.  Lessons will be offered before and after school, and during your child’s band class.  The cost for a 30-minute lesson is $17 (financial assistance may be available).  Private lessons are not required, but are encouraged.  Each student received a handbook today with a private lesson form inside.  If you are interested, we suggest you return your form as soon as possible as requests for specific times will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.  Feel free to contact us with any questions!
